Hyatt: meditation-venue

In their search for a new approach to offer attendees the possibility to immerse themselves in a firsthand experience, Hyatt chose the meditation bubble created by Bubble tents.

Hyatt is an American multinational corporation that manages and also franchises upscale hotels, resorts and vacation accommodations. According to Wikipedia, as of March 2018, Hyatt Hotels Corporation has 777 properties in 54 countries.

The distinct guest experience they offer is what makes Hyatt one of the world’s best hospitality brands. Exceptional care of guests is at the heart of Hyatt’s business as stated in their slogan
“WE CARE FOR PEOPLE SO THEY CAN BE THEIR BEST”.

As one of the world’s hospitality leaders, Hyatt is constantly evolving and looking for innovative new ways to deliver such an experience. Their search led them to a Polish company with an open mind to new concepts and creative thinking that is the one and only producer of large bubble tents. The company which had earlier created the Giant Snow globe for McDonalds was pleased to take up the challenge to create a special mobile booth for Hyatt.

The Hyatt bubble tent is a mobile meditation station that provides a delightful experience of retreat for special moments of peace. The structure consists of a large bubble placed inside an even larger bubble which are both joined together by a special entrance tunnel. This unique concept, designed by specialists from Polidomes International is ideal in terms of sound insulation which was essential for Hyatt’s meditation station. The inflatable bubble is made of high-quality materials, with special attention paid to the smallest of details both in terms of safety and aesthetics. Both bubbles are made from fire-resistant PVC materials. As the structure must remain constantly inflated the system is designed in such a way that in case of a lack of electricity the bubble tent will deflate very slowly.

The inside of the meditation bubble is spacious with a diameter of 7 meters of flooring. In turn, the comfortable foam floor complements the multisensory experience of Hyatt’s well-being amenities.

Hyatt’s zendome allows the brand to showcase how they are embracing trends aimed at experiential meetings. Created by the Bubble tents company, the large inflatable ball has an eye-catching effect and is the perfect booth to place in high-traffic show zones. For trade shows, provides a perfect example of a supplier being able to avoid the “show-and-tell” approach and to allow attendees to immerse themselves firsthand.

The first station:

Hyatt’s meditation dome at the Frankfurt Messe Imex 2019.

“Hyatt’s meditation station offered respite from IMEX’s bustling trade show”

The IMEX mega meeting and event industry event brought together about 14,000 meeting industry professionals who gathered once again to focus primarily on business opportunities and networking on the Messe Frankfurt show floor.

Placed in IMEX’s Discovery Zone, the mediation station was not intended to tell or show visitors about Hyatt’s destinations but to actually let attendees be a part of it. The aim of the meditation station was to give people a unique experience and let them enjoy themselves. The energy of the meditation station created special memories for the visitors they will never forget.

More than 130 participants from more than 30 countries, including 35 political representatives and policymakers, attended the event, which took place at the InterContinental Hotel on the first day of the show.

“Kudos to @Hyatt for a fantastic meditation booth at #IMEX19 – a lovely way to take a moment during a busy day, great addition to the show”

posted on twitter by Director of Marketing & Sales at the DMC Network Aoife Delaney.

Hyatt’s meditation station was an easily recognizable inflatable purple dome where delegates could retreat for some moments of peace. Groups of ten took turns kicking off their shoes and entering the bubble tent for a seven-minute, guided meditation session completely isolated from the hustle and bustle of IMEX. The delightful experience revitalized the visitors for the remainder of the day. As a parting gift, each visitor received an ideal goodie bag—a branded pouch stocked with a silky sleep mask, ear plugs in a branded case and a card with brand info.
